Who we are
Owner Operator Training Academy runs Next Level Owner Operator Training. The academy is a program of Ricerca Labs, a Wyoming corporation. In this notice, “we” and “our team” mean the Ricerca Labs academy team.
What we collect, step by step
We only ask for what each step needs. Later steps happen only if you get there.
- When you startYour name, phone number, email address, city, years of CDL-A experience, and your choices about how we may contact you.
- When you take the aptitude testYour answers.
- Only after an agent invites you to continueYour work history, the front and back of your CDL, and your medical card.
We never ask for your Social Security number or your date of birth. A CDL or medical card image can still show your date of birth, your address and other details printed on it. We protect those images the same way we protect everything else in this notice.
Why we collect it
- To review your aptitude test and call you about it.
- To contact you about your application by the call, text or email choices you made.
- To set up an interview and check that you meet the program requirements.
- If you agree, to introduce you to our carrier partner.
Who can see it
- The Ricerca Labs academy team. The people who review tests and talk with applicants.
- Our carrier partner, only if you agree. When an agent invites you to send documents, you'll be asked separately whether we may share your application with our carrier partner. That is its own choice, apart from your contact choices. If you don't agree, nothing is shared with them.
- Companies that run our systems. The services that host our systems and deliver our emails, calls and texts handle your information only to provide that service to us.
How we protect it
Your application is stored encrypted and separately from any other Ricerca Labs product. It is not used by any other Ricerca Labs product.
We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep applicant records while your application is open and delete them within 12 months after it closes, or sooner if you ask. You can request withdrawal or deletion using the contact details below.
This deadline applies to records in the active system. Encrypted backup copies are removed on a 30-day retention cycle.

Stop calls and texts
You can stop calls and texts any time. Reply STOP to any text, or tell us on a call.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
